Your DigiTicket will be emailed to you upon completion - print it, present it at the ticket desk and enjoy your day!

What happens when I buy a ticket online?

You will be emailed a booking reference on receipt of payment – this is an 8 digit code which you must present at the admissions desk  to gain entrance.

I don't have a printer...

You do not have to print out the 8 digit booking reference – if you are using a handheld device simply show this at the admission desk. You can also just write down your booking reference and bring this with you.

Do I need to buy tickets for children under 5?

No. Children under 5 are admitted free of charge.

What are the opening hours?

We are open from Tuesday to Sunday 10.00am – 5.00pm and Bank Holiday Mondays. The Museum is closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day.

Disabled Access

Due to listed building restrictions the upper floor of the house is not accessible to wheelchair users. We regret that we are unable to accommodate mobility scooters.

Concessions

Concessions are limited to visitors in receipt of means-tested benefits.

Do I need a ticket to visit the cafe or shop?

No – admission to the cafe and shop is always free, however if you wish to enter the house or galleries a ticket will be needed.
